Every member of a workspace can start and join a conference call with all other members of the workspace. When a conference call is started, a "Conference Call" message is posted to the workspace with a "Tap to join" link. This message displays the name of the workspace member who started the conference and the time it started. All members of the associated workspace who are logged into Teamwork will receive an audible and visual notification on the home or lock screen of their mobile phone inviting them to join the conference call.
Use the following instructions to start or join a conference call in Teamwork.
- Open the Teamwork application.
- Your mobile phone dials into the conference call. If you used the Call Me option to receive a call on another phone, answer the call on that phone and press 1 when prompted.
Note: If you have the Mitel Connect app installed on your mobile phone and you are signed in to the app, when starting or joining a conference call, the app automatically opens and dials into the conference.
- To view the associated web conference in the default browser on your phone, tap anywhere in the conference banner except the Join button and tap the Link in the center of the Conference Call screen. Doing this also displays the dial-in number and code for the conference call.
- To leave the conference call, just end the call on the phone or computer being used for audio.
- To end the conference call and disconnect all users from the conference, tap anywhere in the conference banner except the Join button, and tap End Conference. This can be done by any workspace member.
