Turning on Enable Accessibility Enhancements option streamlines keyboard navigation for users of assistive devices while handling voice or email interactions.

Procedure

The Accessibility Enhancement feature in Ignite can be enabled on a per user basis by changing a setting in the Options page. Perform the following steps to enable Accessibility Enhancements:

Navigate to Options > Customization.
Use the TAB key to highlight the Enable Accessibility Enhancements toggle switch.
Use the spacebar to enable or disable Accessibility Enhancements.
Use the TAB key to move the Save button, and use Enter key to save the settings.

Navigation Commands

A series of navigation shortcuts are available to assist keyboard users in Ignite. These shortcuts are available throughout Ignite, however their functionality is limited to navigation outside the text editors embedded in Email, Chat and SMS conversations. A separate set of keyboard shortcuts is available for navigating directly from within the text editors. Support for shortcuts within Chat and SMS editors will be provided in future releases.

The following table lists all the available keyboard shortcuts in Ignite:

Toasters	ALT + a	Accepts the toaster notification for an incoming conversation and moves the cursor to the conversation in the Inbox.
Toasters	ALT + x	Rejects the toaster notification of an incoming conversation.
Main Navigation	ALT + s	Selects the Dashboard main navigation button and moves the cursor to the top of the Dashboard page.
Main Navigation	ALT + i	Selects the Inbox main navigation button and moves the cursor to the top of the Inbox list.
Main Navigation	ALT + h	Selects the History main navigation button and moves the cursor to the top of the History list.
Main Navigation	ALT + q	Selects the Queues main navigation button and moves the cursor to the top of the Queues list.
Main Navigation	ALT + c	Selects the Cases main navigation button and moves the cursor to the top of the Cases list.
Main Navigation	ALT + o	Selects the Options main navigation button and moves the cursor to the top of the Options list.
Main Navigation	ALT + t	Selects the Tools main navigation button and moves the cursor to the top of the Tools list.
Details Pane	SHIFT + d	Moves the cursor to the details pane from a selected conversation in the Cases, Queue, or History list.
Hotkeys Inside Email Text Editor	CTRL + q	Moves the cursor directly from inside the email text editing area to the conversation action buttons.
Hotkeys Inside Email Text Editor	CTRL + m	Moves the cursor directly from inside the email text editing area to the top of the Inbox list pane.
