To create Users and User Groups for a new installation,
you must configure the following system components in the order
- Define the classes of service (COS)
- Create the user groups
- Create user
Note: A new MiVoice Connect system has sets of default COSs and
user groups.
Defining the Class of Service
- Launch
Mitel Connect Director using admin credentials.
- Go to Administration > Appliances/Servers > Platform
Equipment > New.
- Select the Virtual IP Switch (HQ) and Virtual SIP
Trunk Switch (HQ) check box to add it to the Director.
- Go to Administration > Users > Class of Service > Telephony
Features Permissions, and specify the Class Of Services.

Create the user groups
- In the
Connect Director, go to Administration > Users > User
Groups.
- You can do either of the following:
- To edit an existing
user, click the name of the user in the list pane.
- To create a copy of an existing user, click Copy.
- To create a new user, click New.

Create user
- In the Connect Director,
go to Administration > Users > Users.
- You can do one of the following actions:
- To edit an existing
user, click the name of the user in the list pane.
- To create a copy of an existing user, click Copy.
- To create a new user, click New.
Note: When
creating a user, you must change the Voicemail number of rings so
that it does not get kicked in while offering an ACD call to an
agent. By default, the ring timer from MiContact Center is 20 seconds,
you must change the ring count to 5 through Connector.
