Searching for key words and topics

You can search for content in this PDF by using the search function built into Adobe Acrobat or Reader. Consult your Adobe documentation for other search options.

You can search for content in this Help file by using the Search tab or Search in topic in the toolbar. The Search tab enables you to search for topics and keywords, generating a ranked list of all relevant material where the searched term appears. The Search in topic field in the toolbar lets you search for a keyword or topic within an open Help topic.

To search for a key word or topic
  1. In the open PDF, press Ctrl+F.
  2. Alternatively, right-click in the document and select Find.
  3. Type the key word or topic for which you want to search.
  4. Press Enter.
  5. Navigate the results by clicking the Next or Previous buttons.
  1. In the Help file, click the Search tab.
  2. Enter your search term and click Search.
  3. Click on a result to view the topic.

    By default, instances of the searched term will be highlighted. You can remove the highlighting by clicking ‘Remove search highlighting’ in the toolbar.
