Adding a generic data provider
Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SAP, Sugar CRM, and NetSuite can be added as generic data providers in YourSite Explorer. Generic data providers have certain limitations on the SQL language for queries. To add a generic data provider
- Click Multimedia > Data providers.
- Click Add and select Generic from the drop-down list.
- Type a Name for the data provider.
- After Type, select a data provider.
- Type the User Name of the data provider.
- Type the Password for the data provider
- After Other Settings, enter the data provider-specific information.
- SAP: Enter the client number, the system number, and the connection type, separating the values by semi-colons. For example: 250;25;SOAP
- Salesforce: Enter your Salesforce security token.
Contact your Salesforce administrator to obtain the Salesforce security token.
- Dynamics CRM: Enter the CRM version. For example, CRM Online Office 365.
- Sugar CRM: Enter your Sugar CRM credentials.
- NetSuite: Enter your NetSuite credentials.
- Enter the connection’s Url.
- To test the connection, click Test Connection.
- Click Save
