Run this test to check connectivity to:
- ICPs for MiNET/SIP/TFTP services based on the configured
ICP type.
- SIP trunking endpoints
- application servers such as MiCollab and MiContact Center
If these are configured with a fully qualified domain name (FQDN),
a DNS resolution test is also run.
Run the Connectivity tests
Note: Run the
Connectivity test on initial installation.
To run the connectivity
tests:
- On the MBG main page, click the Troubleshooting tab,
and click Diagnostics.
- Beside Connectivity tests, click Run. Test results
are displayed.
Test Result Examples
MiVoice Business
connections:
- Failure to reach MiVoice Business on all
SIP ports — means SIP devices will not connect and SIP trunk calls
will fail to complete.
- Failure to reach TCP 6802/6800 — means all MiNet phones will
fail to connect.
- Failure to reach TCP 3999 — means SAC connections will fail.
MiNet 53xx IP Phones will display Applications Loading and enhanced
functions including key display will not work properly. MiNet 69xx
IP phones do not require this port.
MiCollab Client
connections:
- Failed to reach MiCollab Client server on
all TCP ports — means MiCollab Clients will not connect.
MiContact
Center (prarieFyre) connections:
- Failed to reach MiContact
Center server on all TCP ports — means MiContact Center clients
will not connect.
