Name

Enter a name for this ICP. (For example ICP1)

Maximum 256 alphanumeric characters

Hostname or IP Address

Enter the hostname or IP address of the ICP

• Use dotted quad notation for IP addresses. (For example, 192.168.0.2)

• For MiVoice Office systems equipped with a Processing Server (PS-1), enter the hostname or IP address of the PS-1. SIP traffic will then point to the PS-1 instead of the base MiVoice Office.

Type

Select the ICP type from the list:

• MiVoice Business

• MiVoice Office 250

• MiVoice Office 400

• MiVoice MX-ONE

• MiVoice 5000

• Silhouette

Default is MiVoice Business

The Broadview Silhouette is a cloud-based virtual phone system that supports SIP and MiNET teleworker services when it is integrated with MBG. Contact Broadview Networks for details concerning the following:

• Supported SIP and MiNET devices.

• Supported MBG software versions.

• Configuration instructions.

Installer Password
(MiNET phones only)

Enter an installer password to associate with this ICP. When a device is registered using this installer password, it appears on the Service configuration > MiNet devices tab as Enabled, with default values, and is added to the ICP associated with this password.

Note: Installer password is not supported on MiCollab Client softphones, Spectralink phones, or SIP phones.

Between 5 and 24 characters in length
(0 – 9, *, #).

SIP capabilities

Select the transport protocol(s) to support in SIP messages:

• UDP

• UDP, TCP

• UDP, TCP, TLS

Ensure that this setting matches the capabilities of the ICP. For example, select UDP, TCP, TLS for MiVoice Business or UDP for MiVoice Office 250.

For SIP devices, MBG will select the best transport option to connect to the ICP based on the transport used by the device.

• Incoming TLS - UDP if the ICP is set up for UDP

• Incoming TLS - TCP if the ICP is set up for UDP, TCP

• Incoming TLS - TLS if the ICP is set up for UDP, TCP, TLS

• Incoming TCP - UDP if the ICP is set up for UDP

• Incoming TCP - TCP if the ICP is set up for UDP,TCP

• Incoming TCP - TCP if the ICP is setup for UDP, TCP, TLS

• Incoming UDP - UDP for all ICP settings

For WebRTC subscribers, MBG will select the best transport option to the connect to the ICP based on the WebRTC security mode.

• UDP if security mode is "Public" and ICP is setup for UDP

• TCP if security mode is "Public" and ICP is setup for UDP, TCP

• TCP if security mode is "Public" and ICP is setup for UDP, TCP, TLS

• UDP if security mode is "Public and Private" and ICP is setup for UDP

• UDP if security mode is "Public and Private" and ICP is setup for UDP, TCP

• TLS if security mode is "Public and Private" and ICP is setup for UDP, TCP, TLS

Default is UDP.

Indirect call recording capable

Select to enable MBG to provide a secure recording connector (SRC) service to remote MiNET devices registered on the ICP. The MBG server functions as a "broker" between the Mitel equipment and the Call Recording Equipment (CRE). On the ICP side, the SRC receives copies of signaling messages and sends tap commands. On the CRE side, it establishes taps in the voice stream of remote MiNET devices connected to the ICP.

Default is disabled.

Note:

• When this feature is enabled, SRC is supported for both local and remote MiNET devices.

• Indirect call recording is supported on 5300-series and 6900-series IP Phones using the MiNET protocol, ICPs with MiVoice Business release 5.0 SP1 or later, and a range of Call Recording Equipment (CRE).

XML listen port

(Mivoice MX-ONE, Office 400 and 5000 only)

Enter the port on MBG that is used to listen for XML services. If digital certificates are being used for authentication, select TLS.

Default:

• MiVoice MX-ONE: 22223 (TLS)
                            22222 (TCP)

• MiVoice Office 400: 4430 (TLS)

• MiVoice 5000: 4443 (TLS)

Note: By default, MBG also uses port 4443 to listen for "collaboration" traffic from the AWV. If your implementation supports both the MiVoice 5000 and AWV, then you must assign a new listen port to either of the two services. If both use 4443, a conflict will occur.

XML destination port

(Mivoice MX-ONE, Office 400 and 5000 only)

Enter the port on the call server that is used for XML services. If digital certificates are being used for authentication, select TLS.

Default:

• MiVoice MX-ONE: 22223 (TLS)
                             22222 (TCP)

• MiVoice Office 400: 443 (TLS)

• MiVoice 5000: 4443 (TLS)

Configuration server listen port

(Mivoice MX-ONE only)

Enter the LAN port on the IP Phone Software configuration server. If digital certificates are being used for authentication, select TLS. Enter 443 (TLS) or 80 (TCP).

Default is 443 (TLS).

Configuration server destination port

(Mivoice MX-ONE only)

Enter the WAN port on the IP Phone Software configuration server. If digital certificates are being used for authentication, select TLS. Enter 4431 (TLS) or 80 (TCP).

Default is 4431 (TLS).

Configuration server address

(Mivoice MX-ONE only)

Enter the IP address of the IP Phone Software configuration server.
