About MiNET and SIP Restrictions

Access to the MBG server can be restricted by allowing only configured and enabled MiNET and/or SIP devices to connect. The following tables outline the behavior when sets attempt to connect for the first time:

MiNET Restriction

For MiNet devices, you have the option to enable or disable access restrictions to the MBG server. It is enabled by default.

set prompts "CONNECTION REFUSED. CONTACT TW ADMIN"  and is then added to the MiNET Devices list as "Disabled".

Configured

set prompts for "TW INSTALLER PWD". If a matching password is entered, set is added to the MiNET Devices list automatically as "Enabled".

set is sent to the default MiNET ICP and is added to the MiNET Devices list automatically as "Enabled".

SIP Restriction

For SIP devices, access to the MBG server is always restricted.
