Backup/Restore Application Data

You can back up application data to a location or device on a local or remote PC.

Note: The backup option provided in the MSL server manager menu provides a more complete server backup.

To back up application data:

1. On the Status tab, click File transfers.

2. Beside Import/Export application data, click Backup.

3. Click Save and then select a location to store the backup data.

4. Click Save.

To restore application data:

Notes:

• Restoring application and server data deletes any existing data. Use this option only during a fresh install.

• You can use the Restore option to mirror ICP and device information to subsequent servers.

1. On the Status tab, click File transfers.

2. Beside Import/Export application data, click Restore.

3. Do one of the following:

1. • to restore application AND server data (fresh install only), clear the Restore only ICP and device data box.

   • to restore ICP and device data only, select the Restore only ICP and device data box.

4. In the Restore data field, browse to the location of the backup file and then click Open.

5. Click Upload. The restore is confirmed.
