Supported Applications

Use this screen to obtain a list of the applications that support remote management, and to determine their user-and admin-level URLs and access requirements.

Among other things, the screen indicates the Minimum Access Level (Admin = users can only access admin interfaces; Open = users can access both user and admin interfaces) and the Force Authentication Level (Always = users require permission to access user and admin interfaces; Admin = users require permission to access admin interfaces; Never = users do not require permission to access user or admin interfaces).

To view information pertaining to supported applications:

  1. In the server manager, under Applications, click Remote Proxy Services.

  2. Select the Supported Applications tab. The following values are listed:

Heading

Description

Short name

The short name of the application. For example, MiCollab is the short name for MiCollab.

Long name

The long name of the application. For example, MiCollab is the long name for MiCollab.

End user URLs

A list of the valid end user-level URLs that are accessible for this application. For example, /npm-pwg is the valid URL for the NuPoint Web View interface.

Admin URLs

A list of the valid administrative-level URLs that are accessible for this application. For example, /npm-admin is the valid URL for the NuPoint UM Web Console interface.

Common URLs

A list of the common URLs that are accessible for this application.

Force trailing slash

A trailing slash (/) is inserted following the URL, regardless of how the URL is entered.

Minimum access level

The minimum access level for this application:

  • Admin = users can only access admin interfaces

  • Open = users can access both user and admin interfaces

Force authentication at level

The level at which users are forced to authenticate themselves to access this application:

  • Always = users require permission to access user and admin interfaces

  • Admin = users require permission to access admin interfaces

  • Never = users do not require permission to access user or admin interfaces

To delete a supported application:

  1. In the server manager, under Applications, click Remote Proxy Services.

  2. Select the Supported Applications tab.

  3. Click Delete for a supported application.

  4. Click OK.
