This procedure enables you to export MBG device data to a CSV file. You can use this file for backup purposes, or to serve as a template for a new file to be amended and then imported back onto MBG.
Two files are available for export—one for SIP devices and another for MiNet devices. The files contain an alphabetical listing of programmable SIP and MiNet fields.
To read and edit the device data spreadsheet, you require a CSV-compatible application such as Microsoft Notepad or Excel®.
Save the file as a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file with a .CSV extension — for example, minet-export.csv.
Some fields programmed to “Use Master Setting” will have a value of zero (0) in the exported CSV file. This indicates that the field is unmanaged and will use the global settings configured on MBG. For example, if the Time Format is “12” in the Configuration Settings, it will be represented by a zero (0) in the CSV file and use “12” on MBG.
