Configure Time Settings

MiNet clients receive time updates from the ICP to which they are connected. In many cases, the MiNet phone is located in a different time zone from the ICP. To override ICP updates, you can configure time zone on a client-by-client basis. You can also configure your display preference to 12- or 24-hour mode. When you configure a time zone, MBG overrides the ICP data with the configured data.

To configure time settings for a MiNet client:

1. On the MBG main page, click the Teleworking tab and click MiNet.
2. Do one of the following:
   • To modify an existing device, click .
   • To add a new device, click .
3. In the Timezone field, select the appropriate time zone for this client.
4. In the Time Format field, select one of the following:
   • Use master setting: to allow the selected device to use the global time format programmed on the Settings screen.
   • 12 hour: to select 12-hour format
   • 24 hour: to select 24-hour format
5. Click Save.

To return to ICP-controlled time settings, in the Timezone field, select “------” and click Save.
