Installing Voice Mail Prompts

You can install prompt languages for the embedded voice mail application as part of an Upgrade or Full Install. You can also install them later without having to re-install the software.

Prompts can be removed but only as part of a Full Install. Any prompts installed separately or as part of an Upgrade are added to any already on the controller

The controller must have at least two languages installed. One of the languages must be the primary language, which is based on the country variant in the License and Options Selection form. If the primary language is missing, the system will fail to reboot.

The Software Installer only transfers the prompts to the MiVoice Business system; it does not enable them. To enable them, use the Configuration Wizard or the System Administration Tool following installation.

To install voice mail prompts:

  1. Ensure Install Voice Mail Prompts is selected (it is by default).
    The Selected list shows the languages currently installed.

  3. To install additional languages, select them from the Available list, and then click .

  4. To remove languages already on the controller (applies to a Full Install only), select them from the Selected list, and then click

  2. Select the options you require (if any), then click Next to proceed to the final screen.
