Conference
A conference can be set up in different ways: With a conference bridge, the conference participants dial in at a specific time. Open conference rooms can be viewed or even deleted in this view.
Lets you preconfigure 4 conference groups for regular conference calls attended by the same participants. If you store the corresponding function code on a key, a preconfigured conference is set up with a key stroke.
Dial-in conference rooms
The conference organiser prepares, via a Self Service Portal, a conference room and e-mails an invitation to this conference, indicating the topic, date and time, internal and/or external dial-in number and conference PIN.
The conference participants choose, at a predefined time, the internal or external dial-in number and are connected with the conference. An audio guide assists the conference participants during the dial-in.
Conference rooms are basically managed via the
users' Self Service Portal. However, all open conference rooms can
be seen with their status, usage counter and last application, and
can deleted by clicking the
symbol.
Moreover, you can adjust here the description of the conference
rooms and generate a new PIN for each conference room by clicking
the
symbol.
Preconfigured conferences
Lets you preconfigure 4 conference groups for regular conference calls attended by the same participants. You can enter up to 5 participants in each group.
The next section explains how to add or delete conference participants.
Add conference participants
Click the conference group to which you want to add a participant.
The edit view for the conference group is opened.
Enter the call numbers of the conference participants. Do not forget to add the exchange access prefix when entering external call numbers (e.g. 00326241344).
Removing conference participants
Click the conference group from which you want to remove a participant.
The edit view for the conference group is opened.
Delete the call number entry of the conference participant you want to remove.
