Dialling in number

Here you will find all the DDI numbers configured in the communication server. You can name or rename the DDI numbers as required. Depending on the system configuration the name is displayed on the called user’s system phone for all incoming calls.

Direct dialling is used to reach internal users directly from the public network. The incoming call is linked with an internal destination (or several internal destinations) on the basis of the call number’s direct dial portion.

Within a direct dialling plan create your number ranges by agreement with the public network operator; these number ranges match the anticipated direct dial portions of the call numbers. In a three-digit direct dialling plan, for example, number ranges of 300…399 and 500…549 are created.
