Set up permission sets

(User administration / Permission set view)

Define the telephony permissions for the reception and room phones.

For this, create individual permission sets to be assigned to the target users.

Creating and assigning permission sets for the reception

  1. Create a permission set for the reception. If this latter is operated with a reception phone, activate the setting Enable hospitality functions if supported by the phone. If the reception has more than a workstation with telephone, disable the setting Busy if busy.

  2. Change to the User / User list view and assign the newly created permission sets to the reception users.

Creating and assigning permission sets for room phones

  1. Create a permission set for the room status vacant and assign it the digit barring for the room status vacant, which you had created previously.

  2. Create a permission set for the room status occupied and assign it the digit barring for the room status occupied, which you had created previously.

  3. If you had previously created alternative digit barring for the room status occupied, also create an alternative permission set for the room status occupied and assign it the alternative digit barring.

  4. Change to the Hospitality / Hotel / General view and assign the newly created permission sets to the room statuses (Permission set if room is vacant, Permission set if room is occupied and Alternative permission set if room is occupied).
