Mitel server
Here you can edit both the update server addresses for the firmware of different phones and phone application, and the SWAS server address.
The addresses are preconfigured according to the sales channel and should normally not be modified.
Firmware update via an update server
For SIP and IP system phones running on a MiVoice Office 400 communication server, a specific firmware version is needed to match the MiVoice Office 400 software version. The phones check for firmware updates automatically. IP system phones use the integrated ftp server of the communication server as update server. When updating the communication server, the firmware on the integrated update server will also be updated.
For Mitel 6700 SIP, a global Mitel FTP server has already been predefined. For Mitel 6800 SIP/ 6900 SIP, a global Mitel HTTPS server has already been predefined. Various firmware versions are stored on this server, according to different communication server software releases. The predefined entry in WebAdmin is adjusted to each communication server release if necessary. You can also indicate the address of your own firmware server.
Mitel Dialer
Mitel Dialer is a simple first party CTI application for integration into Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Lync or Microsoft Office 365, with connection to a Mitel phone.
Software assurance
The default Licence server URL is used for connection to the Mitel licence solution and SWA management.
Without connecting to the licence server, the SWA state cannot be fully checked and the communication server are not operational at times. Therefore, do not change the default URL, except in case of emergency and only according to the instructions of the support personnel.

Deactivating the update server
To deactivate an update server, choose the setting None as server type.
