interfaces
Here you can see the port designation of the connection sockets and the current interface configuration.
You can also make a number of interface-specific settings and add cabling information.
The interfaces on the communication server front panel depend on the interface cards and wiring adapters fitted. The interfaces available are shown in the assignment table and colour-coded by interface type.
FXO/FXS: Analogue network and terminal interfaces.
ISDN/CAS: ISDN Terminal interface BRI-S, ISDN network interface BRI-T (basic access) and ISDN network interface PRI (ISDN/CAS primary rate interface PRI).
DSI: Two-wire interface for digital system phones.
Displaying port designations
Move the mouse pointer over the connection sockets on the figure. You will now see the port designation of the connection sockets.
The port designations of the available interfaces are also displayed in the assignment table under the figure.
Display all the interfaces of a given type
In the navigation tree select the Analogue view to obtain an overview of all the available analogue terminal and network interfaces.
In the navigation tree select the ISDN view to obtain an overview of all the available digital terminal interfaces (BRIS bus) and digital network interfaces (ISDN basic access and ISDN primary rate access).
In the navigation tree select the Digital view to obtain an overview of all the available DSI interfaces for system phones.
Displaying the settings of an interface
In the interface overview click the port designation you want under Port. This takes you to the edit view for that interface.
In the figure you can also click directly on the connection socket you want or, in the assignment table, on the port you want.
Changing the settings of an interface
In the edit view of an interface click Change, make the settings you want, and save them with Apply.
