Digit Barring

You can use digit barring to restrict the call numbers that can be dialled.

You can use digit barring to bar undesirable call destinations. Digit barring checks the dialled digits against a barred list or a free list. Depending on the result of the check, the connection is or is not set up. External digit barring checks calls numbers in the exchange; internal digit barring checks call numbers with internal destinations.

You have several internal and external digit barring options, which you can configure differently. You assign one of these internal and external digit barring options to the users. Depending on the switch position of Switch group 1, you can assign various internal and external digit barring types.

The internal digit barring is used to bar internal call numbers; the external digit barring is used to bar external call numbers.

You select whether in a digit barring all the call numbers are barred or free as a matter of principle and then you define the exceptions.

Note:

The digit barring options assigned after a first start already contain country-specific entries.
