Time controlled function
Here you can define the time-controlled functions (*/#-Functions codes) which are executed once at a given time (time/date) or repeated on certain or all week days at a specific time. The */# function codes can be used for user-specific features or for settings applicable throughout the system.
Parameter |
Description |
ID |
The ID of the time-controlled function is shown here. |
Name |
Editable text field with the name of the function. |
Function |
Editable text field with the function code. Note:
Invalid entries, which cannot be executed, do not trigger any error message. |
Mode |
Repetitive: In this mode, you can have a function executed on one day, several days successively or on all days of the week, at a configurable time. Single execution: This mode lets you execute a function on a configurable date and at a configurable time. Preparation (no execution): Here you can preconfigure some functions without having them executed. You can also use this setting to temporarily disable time-controlled functions. |
Start day |
For the Repetitive mode select the week day on which the function is to be executed for the first time per week. |
Stop day |
For the Repetitive mode select the week day on which the function is to be executed for the last time per week. If the stop day and start day are identical, the function is executed once a week. |
Execution date |
For the Single execution mode, click on the calendar symbol and choose the execution date or enter the execution date manually in DD.MM.YYYY format. |
Execution time |
Enter the execution time in HH:MM format. |
Switch group assignment |
Each function can be assigned a switch group. This allows you, for example during holiday periods, to activate or deactivate whole groups of functions. All functions with allocation of the corresponding switch group are active on switch position 1 and inactive on switch positions 2 + 3. |

Other properties:
-
All remote-controlled functions can be activated with time control. User-specific features are activated with *06 <User number.>.
-
Unlike the control of features or the modification of configurations via the terminal, time-controlled functions are not subject to the authorisations or to the digit barring that apply to individual users.
-
Features and settings can also be activated, deactivated and modified with time control and in parallel via terminals. Each particular status is event-controlled, i.e. the last command chronologically determines the current status. The previous statuses of the functions are not verified. If a function is removed from the table, its status is also retained.
Time-controlled restart
In addition to the control using */# function codes a time-controlled restart of the system or Mitel SIP phones is also possible.
To restart the communication server enter, under Function the word reset. In the Crashlog you can find the relevant entry under Error-ID 08625.
To restart the Mitel SIP phone enter, under Function, the phrase reset mitel sip.
Time-controlled functions in the AIN
In an AIN the execution of a time-controlled function is always determined by the Master’s time. A time zone shift configured for a node is not automatically taken into account.

Exporting and importing time-controlled functions
Time controlled functions are part of the Excel export file and can also be edited externally. For more details please refer to "Importing and exporting configuration data".
