Application User Totals
This table lists the installed applications and the user licensing information for each application. The totals in this table include the user licenses in the available UCC License Bundles plus any "al la carte" licenses that you may have purchased.

Total user(s) and contact(s) count
This table lists the total count of users and contacts present in the system. The Configured value along with the Threshold limit and Maximum limit for the system resources is also displayed in this table.

Licensing - Alarms and Events
The following table describes the key server manager events and alarms that can be raised during user provisioning when the threshold and maximum user limit is crossed. These alarms are generated in the Event Viewer application of the Server Manager.
The minor alarm, Server Running Out of Resources is raised when the number of users provisioned over MiCollab crosses the threshold limit, which is 90% of the maximum limit. Another minor alarm, Server Out of Resources is generated when the maximum limit of users provisioned over MiCollab server is crossed as per the resources allocated to the MiCollab server. The Maximum limit is the total number of users that can be configured in that particular deployment type. Currently, there are five types of deployment (Small, Mid-market, Enterprise, Large Enterprise, and Extra Large Enterprise) that are supported for both ESXI and Hyper-V environments. With MiCollab 9.7 SP1, this feature expands to include Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure deployments as well.
The Maximum and Threshold limits for the user count would also change based on the deployment type. For example, in case of Hyper-V and Enterprise, the maximum limits for the five types of deployment are, Small- 250, Mid-market- 1500, Enterprise - 2500, Large Enterprise - 5000, and Extra Large Enterprise - 7500. Even when the alarm is generated after crossing the maximum limit, it does not restrict the administrator to create new users beyond that limit (with a decrease in performance).

To fix issues where resource alarms are raised on MiCollab Server, the MiCollab Administrator has two solutions:

Reduce the number of users below the Threshold Limit indicated in the License section and delete the Event Log indicating the minor alarm

Backup the MiCollab, deploy a larger resourced MiCollab (for example, Small to Mid-Range or Mid-Range to Enterprise or Enterprise to Large Scale Enterprise) and restore the backup into the new MiCollab Deployment.
Effect of Adding or Removing UCC Licenses
When you add or remove a UCC Licensing bundle, the system updates the UCC Licensing totals. The Application User Totals are also updated to reflect the change.

Voice Mailbox Over Provisioning
You are allowed to restore a database to a destination system even though the database may contain more voice mailboxes that the system licensing can support. Over provisioning of voice mailboxes is allowed in order to give you time to purchase additional licenses. If the system is in an over provisioned state:

A warning message appears in the Users and Services application that indicates that you need to purchase additional NuPoint UM user licenses.

You cannot add new voice mailboxes if the current mailbox count has reached the system NuPoint UM user licensed limit or if the system is in an over provisioned state. You will also be unable to add mailboxes from the NuPoint UM telephone user interface.

You cannot log into the NuPoint UM web console.

You cannot log into the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing administration application.

You can log into the NuPoint UM Telephone User Interface (TUI), but you will be unable to access the administrative options.
To return the NuPoint UM application to its normal state, purchase additional licenses or delete the extra mailboxes. You must reduce the number of mailboxes to be equal to, or lower than, the number of available licenses.
