This issue occurs when the configuration service encounters a general failure and has caused the application to stop functioning. When this issue occurs the service has entered the stopped state. Monitoring software should recover this service into a normal running state.
Error. Although typically a recoverable error, this could be considered critical if issue occurs more than once per day or more than 3 times per week.
While the prairieFyre Config Service is offline, users will not be able to authenticate and log into any of the applications such as the Contact Center Client, YourSite Explorer or the Web Page.
First ensure that the prairieFyre Config Service has recovered and is in the started state again. This can be checked by going to Start> Administrative Tools> Services. Gather all the logs in the form of a support package and contact prairieFyre support.
