DSS0001 - Unable to access an active directory (AD) object

DESCRIPTION

This error means that there was a problem accessing an AD object. It can occur if there is a security issue with the identity you have entered during your installation or an AD path in your configuration no longer exists in AD.

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS

  1. Check your YourSite Explorer AD path configuration via the ribbon on your enterprise device. Check that each AD path is valid in the system and synchronizing again.
  2. Ensure that the identity the service is running under can connect to AD
  3. Check that the AD object exists in AD
  4. Check that the identity of the service has access to the specific object.
