DSS0004 - Telephone System Synchronization failed due to Intertel

DESCRIPTION

The telephone system synchronization failed and the area of its failure was Intertel.

IMPACT

The telephone system synchronization did not complete.

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS

Checking the telephone system synchronization logs may indicate what caused the error. Synchronization logs can be found in [Install Path]\CCM\Logs\ look for the prairieFyre.Services.DataSynchronizationService.TXT file.

If you cannot find the error’s cause in the telephone system synchronization logs, go through the following steps to verify your media server’s configuration:

  1. Open YourSite Explorer and select YourSite.
  2. Under Enterprise, select Media servers.
  3. Select the 5000 or Axxess media server you are attempting to synchronize.
  4. Under Telephone system connection settings, verify that the IP address and Password are correct.
  5. Under General, verify that the Site and Computer name are correct.
  6. If the media server belongs to a CT Gateway, under Gateway setting, verify that the This media server belongs to a gateway check box is selected and that the Gateway ID is accurate.
  7. If this is a stand-alone media server and the above configuration is not working, try specifying that the media server is a CT Gateway with a Gateway ID of 1.

If, after performing these steps, the media server still will not synchronize, please contact prairieFyre Customer Support.
