ALM0005 - Calls Processed Per Hour

DESCRIPTION

Alarms can be configured to trigger when certain thresholds of calls are being handled by the VWM ports.

SEVERITY

Variable

IMPACT

This is simply an indication of the volume of calls being handled. The alarm is disabled by default.

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS

You can configure thresholds for 3 different levels: e.g.

  1. If less than 100 calls were processed in the past hour, then set a minor alarm
  2. If less than 50 calls were processed in the past hour, then set a major alarm
  3. If less than 5 calls were processed in the past hour, then set a critical alarm

You can set a business alarm so that you do not get alarms sent if you are not within traffic hours.
