ALM0118 - Hotdesking and Traditional agent mismatch

DESCRIPTION

This alarm monitors each media server and looks for cases where hot desking and non-hot desking (traditional) agents co-exist. If there is a hot desking agent identified on the media server, the entire media server is flagged as hot desking. Because this is not set at the agent level, every agent who is created for that media server will be created as a hot desking agent, even if they are not programmed as such in the PBX.

IMPACT

Interactive Contact Center Commands such as Set Make Busy, Cancel Worktimer, and AGP changes will not function as expected if you have a mixture of these devices on your 3300.

NOTE: Both MiContact Center, and MiVoice 3300 support do not support a mix of HotDesking and Standard agents in a single system.

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS

This issue should be corrected on the PBX. Ensure that hot desking agents and traditional agents do not co-exist on the PBX. After correcting this issue, perform a full Telephone System Synchronization using YourSite Explorer.
