VWM0015 - Enterprise Server Real-Time trace buffer overflow

DESCRIPTION

This alarm indicates that the real-time updates on the Port monitor are lagging behind and stale port states will display until all messaging has been removed from MSMQ.

SEVERITY

Medium

IMPACT

The real-time events displayed in real-time monitors will not be accurate.

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS

You can Purge the IvrInboundData queue to remove all the messages from MSMQ. However if you do this, the purged data will not be able to be reported on for example Port and Hunt Group reports.

• Access the server where the IVR services are running.
• Launch the Server Management tool.
• Under Features on the left hand menu, expand the Message Queuing role and then Private Queues.
• Select the IVRInboundData queue.
• In the pane on the right, highlight all the items within the queue and delete them.

Over time and with decreased traffic, the messaging will eventually be removed from MSMQ and real-time functionality will return.
