VWM0016 - Invalid Hunt Group members detected

DESCRIPTION

Invalid hunt group members have been detected within an existing hunt group. These are extensions/ports of a different type than those in the hunt group. For example: RAD ports in an App Server hunt group.

SEVERITY

Critical

IMPACT

Invalid port configuration within a Hunt Group can cause the associated call flow to generate errors or to fail.

TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS

There are two solutions to this issue.

You can remove the ports from the Hunt Group, as follows:

  1. Open YourSite Explorer.
  2. Go to Hunt Groups.
  3. Select the Hunt Group from which you want to remove ports.
  4. Click the Membership tab.
  5. Select the ports on the right and click the arrow (<) to remove them from the Hunt Group.

Or you can change the port type to match the Hunt Group, as follows:

  1. Open YourSite Explorer.
  2. Go to Extensions.
  3. Select the extension for which you want to change the extension/port type.
  4. Configure the port type to match the other ports in the Hunt Group.
  5. Click Save at the top left.
