Indicates a Media Gateway communications error. Applies to the MXe Server, MiVoice Business Multi-instance, MiCloud, MiVoice Business for Industry Standard Servers, and MiVoice Business Virtual only.

Possible Cause | Corrective Action |

IP configuration is incorrect or duplicated. RTC (Media Gateway) card has no IP address. The APC-MXe has lost communications with the Media Gateway (RTC). |
Check that the IP addresses are correct by checking the System IP Properties form on the System Administration Tool. Refer to Mitel Knowledge Base article 09-5157-00026 for instructions on how to set the IP address. Ensure that the internal L2 Switch is operating properly. NOTE: Layer 2 switching is not directly applicable to MiVoice Business for ISS since Layer 2 switching is performed by an external Layer 2 switch. The system clears the alarm after the error condition is resolved and communication is re-established. |
