Usually, an SNTP server provides your phone with the date and time within your time zone. If your phone set up does not include an SNTP server, you will need to set the time and date manually; therefore, only use the procedure below if you are not using an SNTP server. To determine whether there is a SNTP server, contact your Administrator.
Note: The time and date are specific to your phone. You cannot change the time and date settings while on a call.
Note: You can also use your phone to change the date and time. Refer to each phone's reference guide for more information. See About Supporting Documentation to access the appropriate guide.
To modify the date and time for your phone:
On the Web Configuration Tool home page, click Date/Time.
Do one or both of the following:
To set the date, enter the date in the day-month-year (dd-mm-yyyy) format in the Date fields.
To set the time, enter the time in the 24-hour clock format (hh:mm) in the Time fields, and then select AM, PM or -- (for 24hr) from the drop-down list.
Click Apply. A confirmation screen appears.
Click OK. The information is updated.
