Configuring audio settings
When a call is connected to MiContact Center Business, the system performs codec negotiation to determine which audio codecs to use. You can select which audio codecs the system can use and the order of preference.
By default, all codecs are enabled. For information on supported codecs, see the MiContact Center Business System Engineering Guide
To set the codecs
- Select YourSite > Media servers.
- Select the media server and click the Advanced tab.
- Select the codecs you want to use.
- To change the order of preference for codec use, select a codec
and click the Up or Down buttons to change the codec's order.
Disabled codecs cannot be reordered.
- Click Save.
