Adding a music on hold

MiContact Center Business provides music on hold for your telephone system using a PC sound card with a connection to your gateway. MiContact Center Business plays music through the sound card using a rotating (loop) playlist. Music on hold playlists can be applied to a media server or to a queue. If applied to a queue, the queue's Music on Hold playlist will override the media server's playlist.

MiContact Center Business supports wave files for music on hold. MiContact Center Business does not support 48000 bitrate content. Playlists can include music or prerecorded information messages.

You can start or stop the music engine from the user interface. Once started, the music engine loops through the playlist, playing continuously until stopped.
