Addressing methods

For an IP system phone to register successfully with the communication server, it has to have its own address and it has to know the address of its communication server. For the operation of individual phones, it is easiest to enter these coordinates manually in the phone's local configuration Addressing IP system phones manually.

To put several phones into operation, it is advisable to automate the local configuration on the phones using DHCP. There are three possibilities for this:
