Licensed Features and Synchronization

If you intend to create MiCollab Client accounts using PBX Node or AD/LDAP synchronization, you must select a Feature Profile for those accounts that will be added when you perform the initial synchronization.

For the Feature Profile that you select, make sure that you have sufficient licenses activated for the accounts that will be created. For example, if you intend to create 100 accounts by completing a synchronization, make sure you have activated 100 licenses for each of the features included in the Feature Profile that you specify. Refer to the Licensed Feature Usage table on the Features Tab to determine how many licenses are available for each feature.

As an alternative, you can select the Default Feature Profile when completing the initial synchronization. The Default Feature Profile does not contain any licensed features, and therefore you cannot accidentally run out of licenses when you create accounts during the initial synchronization process. However, if you choose the Default Feature Profile when configuring a synchronizer, you must create and assign a different Feature Profile (that includes licensed features) to all of the accounts after the synchronization.
