Configure MiVO400 on VA Platform

This topic explains how to configure a MiVoice Office 400 PBX on a Virtual Appliance (VA) platform to integrate with CloudLink. For detailed PBX instructions see, MiVO400 technical documentation.

The task involves the following procedures:

  1. Add CloudLink App Users

  2. Install Mitel CloudLink Gateway Application

  3. Configure CloudLink Gateway.

  4. Access Application Configuration Link

  5. Onboard Customer

  6. Verify CloudLink SMBC/VA Account

  7. Verify CSTA Service

  8. Verify SIP Networking

  9. Verify Mitel CloudLink Gateway Service

  10. Configure GSM Call Through Feature

Install Mitel CloudLink Gateway Application

Install the Mitel CloudLink Gateway application using MSL Server-Manager.

Note: Ensure that the Virtual Machine has at least two CPU cores assigned.
Important: Network Configuration

The CloudLink gateway blades contain a Docker engine that is needed to run the containers that provide the functions of the gateway. The Docker engine configures a network for internal communication. During the installation, Docker looks for a usable IP network. If none of the networks are listed below are available, the Docker installation fails.

To avoid this, ensure that at least one of the following networks are left free during the MSL network configuration:

  1. Admin must mount the CD-ROM on the MSL according to virtualization software.

  2. Browse to MSL Server-Manager (https://<IP-Address>:8443).

  3. Log in by entering admin as User name as admin and password as admin-password.

    The Mitel Standard Linux window is displayed.



  4. Navigate to ServiceLink > Blades.

    CloudLink Gateway is displayed in the table.

  5. Click Install and accept the licence agreement.

  6. Remove CD-ROM ISO-image.

  7. Click Clear this report.

    The CloudLink Gateway downloads the required components from the cloud in the background.

Configure CloudLink Gateway

  1. In the MSL Server-Manager, navigate to Applications > CloudLink Gateway.

  2. Click CloudLink portal.

    You are redirected to the CloudLink portal.
