To enable the DND (Do Not Disturb) feature on your MiVoice Office app, set your availability status to DND. To disable DND on your app, set your availability status to Available or Busy. For more information about setting your availability status in the app, see Set Your Presence.
When DND is enabled on your MiVoice Office app:
- All new incoming voice calls are blocked from ringing your MiVoice Office app and the desk phone associated with your Mitel CloudLink account. Existing ringing or connected calls are not affected.
- Callers hear a busy signal or are prompted to leave a voicemail depending on how the 'Forwarding Path' is configured on the MiVoice Office PBX for your Mitel CloudLink account.
- All other app features including personal chat, group chat, and chat notifications are not affected.
Note: Samsung device users can allow exceptions and customize what alerts they receive when DND is activated (see
Settings >
Notifications >
Do not disturb >
Allow exceptions in your device) by configuring the
Calls from and
Repeat callers options available in their device.
- When DND is enabled in MiVoice Office app version 5.2.1 installed in Samsung devices, the app will ring and vibrate for incoming calls received from contacts the user has added to exceptions. The app will not ring or vibrate for other contacts.
- • When DND is enabled in MiVoice Office app version 5.3.1 or later installed in Samsung devices, the app will not ring or vibrate for incoming calls received from contacts. This includes the contacts that the user has added to the exceptions. Also, when the user activates DND while a call is already ringing, the ringtone or vibration will stop immediately and will start again once DND is deactivated.
Warning:
Setting DND to ON or OFF using the desk phone associated with your Mitel CloudLink account does not enable or disable DND on your MiVoice Office app.
