Dialing by SIP URL

To dial by SIP URL:

  1. On the Web Configuration Tool home page, click Dial by URL.

  2. In the SIP URL field, enter the SIP URL or IP address of the party you want to call.

  1. (Optional) On your phone, press the Line key upon which you'd like the call to be made; otherwise, the call will be made on the first available line (Line 1 if all lines are free).

  3. To make a Handset call, lift the phone's handset, and then click Dial on the Dial by URL page.

  4. To make a Headset call, press Headset on the phone, and then click Dial on the Dial by URL page.

  5. To make a Handsfree call, click Dial on the Dial by URL page.

  1. (Optional) To save the SIP URL or IP address so that it doesn't need to be re-entered in the future and acts as the default, click Save as Default.
