Before MiV5000 7.2

This section provides guidance in configuring a SIP trunk on a MiVoice 5000 that MiContact Center requires. For information on setting up subscribers or configuring the Mitel phones, consult the documentation available at Mitel Document Center.

To configure a SIP trunk for MiContact Center, you must perform the following tasks:

  1. Create a Private Direction.

  2. Remove MiContact Center-reserved numbers from the Local Numbering Plan.

  3. Create Access to the Private Direction.
