Troubleshooting

Diagnostics

  • Fetch logs for product support: Downloads MBG log files as a single compressed archive.
  • Connectivity Tests: Checks connectivity to ICPs for MiNET, SIP, and TFTP services based on the configured type; SIP trunking endpoints; and application servers such as MiCollab and MiContact Center. If these are configured with a fully qualified domain name (FQDN), a DNS resolution test is also run.
  • Traceroute: Display the route (path) of packets travelling across the IP network to an endpoint.
  • Packet Trace: Capture a log of traffic passing over the network.
  • Teleworker Network Analyzer: Tests voice quality and remote IP Phone connectivity to the MBG server.

Logging

  • Primary Service: Controls logging for SIP and MiNet devices, SIP trunks, call recording, and clustering.
  • WebRTC Service: Controls logging of WebRTC user registrations and calls.
  • Management Layer: Controls logging by the management layer components, including the User Interface, database and events system.

Alarms

  • set the severity level for individual events.
  • set the thresholds for SNMP traps
