MiVoice Business Subscription Ed.2 Licensing
MiVoice Business Subscription has introduced new User Profile entitlements to align with the SLS license server. The name MiVoice Business Subscription applies to the MiVoice Business Solution which includes applications like MBG and MiCollab. MiVoice Business Subscription licensing provides User licensing based on a monthly subscription.
The four MiVoice Business Subscription user bundles that are now available are:
- MiVB Telephony (Ed.2)
- MiVB Entry (Ed.2)
- MiVB Premier (Ed.2)
- MiVB Elite CX (Ed.2)
MiVB Subscription Licensing Rules
The following rules apply to MiVB Subscription Ed.02 Licensing:
MiVB Subscription Ed 2.0 licensing is supported with MiCollab Release 9.8 and above.
A server that was previously synchronized with AMC for the UCC license bundle, can now be synchronized with SLS server using MiVB Subscription Ed 2.0 licensing, but with a new ARID. This may cause the default templates that were created using UCC license to change to non-default templates. New default templates will then be created to correspond to the bundle subscriptions available in MiVB Subscription Ed 2.0.
In MiCollab 9.8, MiVB Subscription Ed. 2.0 licensing is supported with MiVB platforms only.
Current "à la carte" licenses cannot be migrated to MiVB Subscription Ed 2.0 Licensing.
MiCollab licenses in the MiVB Subscription Ed 2.0 Licensing bundle can only be applied to a single MiCollab application record in SLS.
In the SLS license server, the UCC group license manager (ULM) option does not exist.
MiVoice Business Subscription License Bundle Definitions
There are four tiers of MiVoice Business Subscription licensing: MiVB Telephony (Ed.2), MiVB Entry (Ed.2), MiVB Premier (Ed.2), and MiVB Elite CX(Ed.2).
To assign a MiVoice Business Subscription license bundle, assign any of the default roles to the user. The role references a default user template that applies to the licensing.
