Supported Mobile Devices

The Mitel MiVoice Office app is designed to support 64-bit hardware only. It supports:

  • Android 8 comes with some known limitations; Mitel will provide support on ”Reasonable Endeavours” basis. For application issues directly related to Android 8 limitations, Mitel Technical Support recommends that users upgrade to Android 9 or later.
  • Mitel MiVoice Office app continues to be supported with 32-bit Android operating system.
  • Mitel MiVoice Office mobile app behaves the same way on Android 10 as it does on the earlier Android releases if the Gestures feature is disabled (by default, this feature is disabled).

    If the new Gesture feature is enabled on an Android 10 phone, then the sidebar menu (swipe right on home screen) on the MiVoice Office mobile application works differently. The user must do a long press to enable the swipe right action to open the sidebar menu of the app. Alternately, the user can tap the sidebar menu icon at the top left corner of the app to open the side bar menu. If the user enables the Gestures features and immediately swipes right without doing the long press, a back arrow is displayed and the side bar menu options will not be available.

Supported Languages

The following languages are supported for both the app and the online help:

By default, the display language of the app is specific to the country to which you have registered the app. You can change the default language by selecting a language of your choice in the native settings area of your mobile phone. The Mitel MiVoice Office app applies this setting to change the display language for the user interface to the selected language.

Support for Remote Workers

Remote workers using Mitel MiVoice Office app must register with a CloudLink account in one of the countries listed in the Supported Regions section in this topic. For help, see Register Your Mitel MiVoice Office App.

When remote workers place a call, they will hear the default ringtone specific to the country in which they have registered the app. For example, remote workers in Italy, who have registered their Mitel MiVoice Office app in France, will hear the ring tone specific to France.
